Maria McMillan was classically trained in piano for thirteen years before finding a love for pop music. A Los Angeles-based keyboard player, music director, producer and arranger, she is reliable and thoughtful with a strong attention to detail. Maria is passionate about using her skills to help artists surface their most meaningful musical performance and connect with audiences.
Maria graduated with honors from the USC Thornton School of Music as a Popular Music Major with a minor in Music Production. She studied under Patrice Rushen, Paul Jackson Jr., Doug Petty, and more. In her time at USC, Maria had the opportunity to play for Jackie DeShannon, Paul Anka, Gamble and Huff, Babyface, and Mickey Stevenson.
Maria has performed with a wide variety of artists in venues around LA such as the El Rey Theatre, the Troubadour, Hotel Cafe, Moroccan Lounge, El Cid and more. Beyond performing, she writes and produces music with many collaborators across multiple genres.
